The first part is a brush de-clumper who has a number of counter rotating brushes arranged in an upper- and lower-bed. Changing brushes is easy and quick to accomplish. The brush arrangement is thus, that whether single small and big mussels or "easy" and "difficult" to separate clusters are all getting the same gentle treatment. The second part consists of a driven roller conveyor, with self-rotating rollers (standard distance between rollers 14 mm).
